Shion Samadder Chaudhury

Assistant Professor

I am an Assistant Professor specializing in graph theory, matroids, (quantum) secret sharing, and complexity theory. I completed my Ph.D. at the Indian Statistical Institute in 2021, under the guidance of Prof. Bimal Roy, after obtaining a master’s degree from Chennai Mathematical Institute. During my doctoral studies, I had the opportunity to collaborate on low-complexity secret sharing at Kyushu University, Japan. My research interests further encompass additive combinatorics, random graphs, and quantum computation. Previously, I served as a post-doctoral fellow with the TRIM group at TCG-CREST, where I deepened my expertise in these areas.
