Akankshya Dash

PhD student, CQuERE

Akankshya Dash holds a BSc in Physics from Utkal University and an MSc in Applied physics from KIIT University. With a lifelong passion for the natural sciences, her academic journey led her to a deep fascination with quantum computing during her postgraduate studies. For her master’s thesis at IIIT Hyderabad, she focused on quantum algorithms, laying the foundation for her research interests. Akankshya’s work primarily explores the theoretical aspects of quantum information and computation. Currently, at CQuERE, she is advancing her research in quantum algorithms. Looking ahead, she aims to expand her expertise into the foundations of quantum algorithms and investigate the thermodynamics involved in quantum information processing.
