IIT-2020 Global Summit
TCG along with TCG CREST was the gold sponsor of IIT-2020 Global Summit.
This year, the Global IIT summit was titled IIT2020:Future is Now and was organised by PanIIT USA. The 2 day virtual Summit, one of the world’s largest one, addressed issues in global economic development, health, food, supply chain, education, and environment, by bringing Thought-leaders on the Economy, Technologist, Business men , Academicians, and Government Servants to present transformational perspectives and innovative solutions, to the world’s highest IQ audience. The summit included fireside chats, talks, discussions with stalwarts of various global corporations, IIT Directors & prominent global dignitaries as keynote speakers on the 3 different tracks, the Startups segment, Global segment & Unconference on multiple areas. The participants evaluated and developed a blue print that will transform the future.
TCG had a Virtual Booth which had detailed flyers of the different organizations of TCG with special focus on TCG CRES. The Booth was managed by some of the senior TCG employees during the conference for interactions with interested visitors.
Dr. Purnendu Chatterjee, the Chairman of TCG and TCG CREST, was one of the keynote speakers in the ‘Education’ sub-track of the ‘Global Segment’ track. He focused on the future strategies and action plans of TCG CREST which will enable it to achieve the objective of strongly encouraging and promoting an intellectual environment that recognizes education, research and technology as a necessary interdependent intellectual continuum.
