The mission of TCG CREST is to conduct fundamental research at the frontiers of both science and technology. It seeks to encourage cross-pollination of ideas and concepts among the various research programs of the individual institutes within its umbrella. A few of the research areas are highlighted here. Please go through the details to get an exhaustive information of our research inititatives.
CQuERE
Quantum computation/simulation of quantum many-body systems could enable us to reduce the complexity of time-consuming calculations, thereby promising applications in topics such as drug design. It could also enable us to explore possibilities of quantum engineering using photons, as well as tackle issues related to climate modelling.
RISE
Research focuses on in the next-generation solid-state and Sodium ion, rechargeable & flexible battery technologies due to the advantages in safety, operating temperature range combined with potential high energy density in comparison to traditional liquid electrolyte-based systems.
Translational Research in Mathematics (TRIM)
IAI
TRIM focuses on foundational research in both fundamental and applied mathematics with the aim of translating research results to tangible contributions as is necessary in the modern realm of interdisciplinary advances in science and technology.
IAI
The research program in the Cryptography and Security group at IAI TCG-CREST focuses on the theoretical as well as the applied aspect of Cryptology and Security research.
Publications
Implementing research and publishing results in the form of scientific articles is crucial for the progress of science and technology. Scientific publications not only increases the depth of knowledge for the author(s) but more importantly results in a greater contribution of knowledge for others. TCG CREST always thrives to enrich the scientific community through publications.
