CHINTA announces admission in PhD (Biological Science) Program (Jan. 2025 )

Under the TCG CREST-AcSIR Agreement to advance research and academic collaboration in neuroscience, the Centre for High Impact Neuroscience and Translational Applications (CHINTA) invites applications to its Ph.D. program in Biological Sciences. Students in the program have the option to focus on neurobiology, computational neuroscience, stem cells and translational applications. The Ph.D. degree will be awarded by the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) and will adhere to AcSIR’s established rules and regulations.

Research Focus

Faculty and research scientists are currently engaged in fields such as synaptic neuroscience, computational neuroscience, developmental neurobiology, and stem cell research.


Eligibility

Master’s degree in biological science with minimum 55% marks (without rounding off) or equivalent grade for General (UR)/General-EWS and minimum 50% marks (without rounding off) or equivalent grade for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST, Third gender and Persons with Disability (PwD). Candidates who have fulfilled AcSIR eligibility criteria will be asked to appear for a written test.


Important Information

CHINTA will adhere to the AcSIR guidelines for the selection process. The selection process includes a written test followed by an interview. CHINTA will conduct the selection process in both online and offline mode.
