Scientific Advisory Board, CQuERE
Hartmut Haeffner is a faculty member at University Berkeley, California, USA. He also is an APS fellow and a co-PI at the NSF Challenge Institute for Quantum Computation. He is well-known for his contributions to ion trap quantum computing, in particular, for his seminal work on teleportation and entanglement. Notable current achievements of his group are ultra-low noise ion traps, quantum simulation of molecular energy transfer, and entanglement assisted Michelson-Morley tests for electrons.
